Nitya Chambers oversees strategy, growth, and special initiatives across CNN Digital’s portfolio, including CNN Money, CNN Politics, CNN Travel, and CNN Style. Nitya leads her teams to execute editorial strategy and liaises with the network’s sales, product, tech-dev and newsgathering teams.

Before joining CNN, Nitya served as the Director of Content Strategy at Threespot, a digital strategy firm based in Washington, DC serving the social good sector. In this role, she led teams to create powerful digital experiences for clients like the National Park Service, PBS Newshour, and the Smithsonian.

Prior to that, Nitya worked for nearly a decade at ABC News in roles at Nightline with Ted Koppel and ABC News Digital, where she was the first digital hire in the ABC News Washington bureau covering the 2008 presidential election. Nitya grew up in Pittsburgh and holds degrees from Boston University and Carnegie Mellon University. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.

Nathan Thornburgh was a foreign correspondent and news editor at TIME Magazine for a decade before leaving six years ago to start Roads & Kingdoms, a media company at the intersection of food, travel and foreign correspondence. Together with his partners Anthony Bourdain and Matt Goulding, Thornburgh leads projects in print, video, audio and online in an effort to create quality journalism in turbulent times. Thornburgh is a native of Key West, speaks four languages, and spent much of his 20s as a deeply unsuccessful professional musician on three continents.

Jonathan Hunt

Previously, Hunt was Vice President of International at Vox Media and, before then, launched and scaled the company’s marketing and communications operation, raising awareness for the company, its media brands, ad capabilities and content priorities.

Before joining Vox, Hunt was the Global Marketing Director at Vice Media. He led the U.S. and international digital strategies for the company’s portfolio of media brands in 20 global markets, its HBO series and branded campaigns such as The Creators Project, a partnership with Intel.
